CGC completes vital work at Annanhill Golf Club in Kilmarnock

When it comes to finding innovative solutions for customers, CGC is second to none.

So to install a large fence made of netting at Annanhill Golf Club in Ayrshire, we had just the plan.

CGC was tasked with installing a 50 metre long by 9 metre high golf netting fence.

But to install it and give our vehicles and team access to it we made sure we had to be careful to preserve the well kept grass on the course and ensure it was undamaged by the work.

So we installed a specially-laid temporary track measuring 500 metres long and three metres wide.

This enabled our vehicles including a “cherry picker” aerial platform access to the location while ensuring the golf course grass remained in tip top condition.

It is another example of CGC delivering for our clients and ensuring 100 per cent customer satisfaction.

The job is now complete – as our pictures show – and CGC is delighted to have been of service to the golf club.

Willie Phimister of CGC said: “Coming up with innovative solutions is all part of the service offered by CGC. Annanhill is an outstanding golf course and we are sure the new fence will be welcomed by members.”

*We are now engaging with another golf club to carry out similar work – this time to supply and install posts, straining wire and mesh to cover a length of 75 metres. The work also involves the removal of 100 metres of damaged existing mesh and supplying and fitting new mesh to existing posts in place of the damaged materials.
